Terms of Service

MyCoachSync is a technology platform that provides team management, scheduling, and booking tools to independent coaches ("Coaches"). MyCoachSync is not a coaching agency and does not employ Coaches. We provide the marketplace infrastructure; the coaching relationship is between you and the Coach you book.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or accept payments on MyCoachSync. If you are booking sessions for a minor, you represent that you are the minor's parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.

Coaches may subscribe to one or both of our paid plans:

• Coach Management — $9.99/month or $99/year. Provides team roster tools, scheduling, announcements, and coach dashboard. Does not include public booking profile or payment processing.
• Booking — Pay as You Go — $4.99/month plus a $1.00 platform fee per session booked through your MyCoachSync profile. Provides a public booking page, calendar, and Stripe Connect payouts.
• Booking — Unlimited — $9.99/month or $99/year. Same as Pay as You Go with no per-session fees.

Subscriptions are billed in advance. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. The $1.00 per-session platform fee on the Pay as You Go tier is deducted from the session proceeds before transfer to your connected Stripe account.

By subscribing to any Booking tier, you acknowledge and agree that MyCoachSync charges a platform service fee of $1.00 USD per session booked through your profile. This fee is in addition to standard Stripe payment processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). The platform fee is deducted from your session revenue before payout — your listed session rate is what you receive after platform and processing fees, unless you opt to gross up the charge to your client.

Coaches who enable booking must connect a Stripe Express account. By connecting Stripe, you agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. MyCoachSync is not a bank or money transmitter.

Payouts are transferred to your connected bank account following a 24–48 hour hold period after the scheduled session date. This delay helps protect both Coaches and MyCoachSync against chargebacks and session disputes.

Chargebacks. You are financially responsible for chargebacks, refunds, and disputes arising from sessions you provide. MyCoachSync may deduct chargeback amounts and associated fees from future payouts or your payment method on file.

Client-initiated cancellations: Clients may cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled session for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee at the Coach's discretion.

Coach-initiated cancellations: If a Coach cancels, the client receives a full refund. Repeated Coach cancellations may result in account review.

No-shows: If a Coach fails to appear for a booked session, the client is entitled to a full refund. MyCoachSync may issue refunds on behalf of Coaches in such cases.

MyCoachSync may offer promotional trial periods (including a $1 trial) for new subscribers. Trial terms are described at signup. After the trial period ends, your subscription converts to the applicable paid rate. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid charges.

You may not: (a) use MyCoachSync to facilitate unlicensed professional services; (b) misrepresent your qualifications; (c) collect payments outside the MyCoachSync platform to circumvent fees; (d) scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy platform content; (e) violate any applicable law.

MyCoachSync is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyCoachSync and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid to MyCoachSync in the 12 months before the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in San Diego, California, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of MyCoachSync after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
